If you are flying / travelling with a partner, put half of a mix of your clothes in each others check in luggage.
Put 24 hours clothing suitable for your destination in carry on luggage.
Keep photo copies of the important parts for you journey including pictures of yourselves on the same sheet help prevent problems i.e. tickets, visas and passports etc.
Take a mix of credit, debit and prepaid cards, cash and travellers cheques, as with luggage do not keep all eggs in one basket; spread the risk, between yourselves
Your suit case is another’s desire.
Do not ever travel without insurance, in Europe you must have
“The European Health Insurance Card”
Without it some of your insurance may be void!!
Check as some insurance only cover package holidays. If you can any bill over £100 pay by credit card as it should have extra cover, subject to above.
Check with mobile phone Company for hidden overseas, roaming, charges.

At least four times check i.e. one month, one week, day before and morning of departure for transport problems for all modes.

Camera, on the first picture should be a contact but not yours.
So if it goes astray you have a chance, also films in case the prints go missing.
